Premier League Cup Final match thread 14:51 - May 13 with 26459 viewsEsox_Lucius

Play the strongest team we possibly can or reward the players who have got the team this far? I know at this level it supposed to be all about the coaching and not the results but for a one off like this I am hoping it is the strongest team in an effort to win the cup, along the lines of...
1. Salamon
2. Putman
3. Esquerdinha
4. McDowell
5. Murphy
6. Bennie
7. Tuck
8. Morgan
9. Sutton
10. Kolli
11. Dillon

Subs. Clark, Talla, Manufor, Petrie, Vaughan and others. I am not as familiar as many on here as it is normally to far to travel for their games so I only have around 5-6 games to base my team on.
Please feel free to criticise/ replace/ tell me to never darken your door again etc.

Our comms team have now called all three goals. Sints that time.

This is serious. We can now sign anyone we want to, as long as these boys are on Comms.

Delighted for him. Looks so well.

Best team won it playing great football. Brentford just resorted to constant fouling

Better than the first team in terms of entertainment and results.

Kudos to all involved. Brilliant for the club.

I didn’t hear any reason why Kolli wasn’t on the bench or in the team. Did I miss something?

A great way to end a difficult season - well done Furs, his staff and the lads. Bodes well for the future.

Congratulations to the boys but also the staffing and scouting teams. A really strong team performance - of course there's no telling what the future holds for these youngsters but they've played really really well tonight as a team and 100% got their just desserts

Thought Salomon looked very good in goal. We can’t keep 4 decent keepers at the club. I’d cash in on Murphy/Cooper.

He has a bit of Dieng about him when he comes for crosses and also for distribution by hand.

Good shot stopper too.

I thought he had a fine game.
Possibly slightly edgy, though?

I think the ceiling is high on him.

Salamon is still young so if we can get him a season in the National League, that'd be fine at this stage I think. Halliwell on the bench is himself a decent keeper from the little I've seen of him too, so makes sense to get Salamon out for the year.
