Josh Windass leaves Sheffield Wednesday. 31 and an excellent scoring record. Doubt he will come south. Have always liked him as a player.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Even if they committed to doing this in June you’re looking at a week minimum to design and call (that is rapid); workshop drawings a few days, buy and fab the steel minimum 6 to 8 weeks and then a week to install

Let’s say nine weeks from mid June

You’re not having that stand open until September I reckon

Moving that fast comes at a premium cost.
I’m not sure Fit n Proper Derek Chansiri would actually be wanting to commit a single dollar to it so not looking good

No construction Company will go anywhere near that or any other work at Hillsborough Stadium.

No chance by the sound of It could Wednesday place a financial bond into a bank.

I got no affection towards Wednesday but at the same time It's the fans who'll suffer, I find It all a bit disheartening.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

When people call QPR a basket case they should pause to take a look at Sheffield Wednesday. That's what an actual basket case looks like.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

I dunno.

Plenty of Bengal Lancers out there willing to take huge risks still these days.
The Construction Industry remains the greatest race to the bottom ever.

For me, I’d be marking cost up at 200% and then asking for 50% of Contract Sum up front

That’s the world they will be dealing in now.

Likewise (on football) who would allow them to buy a player off of them on the usual installments basis?
Would you really choose to join them as a player?
Surely Rohl has to be rolling out of town?

I’m good with it.
Just need two more clubs to follow the same path I reckon and we might circle the u bend for another season!!!!

Michael Smith has left Sheff Wed.
Good goal-scoring record, could be a useful sub for Frey, possibly get him on super cheap wages as he's 33.

All guesswork but a 1+1 option, depending on the number of games played, would be the contract. Could be worth a look as a stop-gap until we get someone in proper.

But only having Frey as a hold-up player is not enough as his body cannot take it and he gets injured too much. As we know, Celar is not up to it. So, we need a large beast of number 9 to back up Frey.

zzzzzzzzzz

Alternatively we could play to our strengths and not rely to heavily on an injury- prone hold up player. Celar and Kelman look to get in behind the defence and play off the last man's shoulder or be in and around the penalty spot for crosses so we could try that

Interesting to see if Kelman starts the season with us, I presume the club are trying to get him to sign a new contract, if he will not then the club has no option other than to sell him.

To keep him and allow his contract to run out in the hope he can get us promotion would be foolish in my opinion.

Of the players Marti worked with at Rangers, can't say that one would have occurred to me, would have put keener odds on a Taylor Richards re-union.

I doubt that . He is on like 400k a week apparently. They did just sell Alfie May to Huddersfield for 1.2m so probably will buy someone but doubt most prem clubs could afford Mitro.

I see the PFA's Rehoming scheme has a new intake of unloved puppies and old dogs:

I'm sure there are a few on there we've been linked to before.

Leicester working with shirt buttons like Ainsworth was when he signed him.

Yeah, me too. Would have put him on a par with Smyth 3 years ago. Not now, clearly.

Angus Gunn is a surprising one with his pedigree and family connections.

I‘d go as far as to say if we weren’t riddled with keepers I’d love to see us try to sign him.

Not based on his performances against us last season obviously.

Dabo’s had a bit of a fall from grace since almost getting promoted with Cov a few years ago.

Well Kieran Maguire thinks we're the best run club in the Championship. Whisper it very quietly but our basket case days might slowly be fading.

Or, more likely, other clubs are now complete omnishambles now....

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣
