When would be the time to start scapegoating him?

An inexperienced control freak who appears to have set a trap for MC to fall into. While he forces out one of the better managers we've had in the last decade, his mate is literally allowed to phone in his job from Dubai.

Whose employing him
The same jokers who have ran this once great club into the sh1ter
Until they go we will never ever progress
It’s on them yet again, nourry is just a stooge

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

So does this mean he has accepted a job elsewhere and we have put him on gardening leave?

Or we have sacked him and put him on gardening leave whilst we do what? Work out comp? Hope he gets an offer elsewhere so they pay us some limited comp?

Feels like Nourry is trying to sack him without paying him off. That’ll attract other managers to work for him.

Straight out of the playbook of the PR consultant we have been paying all season.

A mutual parting was long agreed for the summer, Cifuentes blew up that sculpted announcement last week so the club (Nourry) have been fighting for their lives to win the PR battle since. They can’t do the ‘mutual parting as friends’ now and they can’t sack him as he hasn’t actually done anything wrong.

Leaking out a non-starter at West Brom and now putting him on gardening leave while alluding to some undisclosed naughtiness works on enough people - as others have commented the twitter replies have a healthy smattering of anti-Cifuentes slant.

Ultimately nothing changes - we part ways, Cifuentes gets paid to go.

A bit more info

The last paragraph is key. The club are stupid for creating that risk plus having to pay Cifuentes off, when they could have just bitten their tongue until WBA or someone else offered some comp. Looks like we have blinked first. Either that or Hoos/Nourry have spat the dummy out.

Gutted but it’s hardly surprising. Championship managers don’t stick around for long anyway.
We move on.

He's not that good at PR, he's used a photo of Marti looking like a fcking catalogue model.

I was really hoping to get another season under Marti, potentially with a chance to spend a bit more this summer. Hopefully the club has a succession plan with a list of potential candidates, so this doesn't drag out. Too early for the Nourry out banners and if we get decent compensation, credit to him for the contract extension.

This day was always going to come sooner than we wanted and Marti's stock has risen. Trust the long term plan and build on the foundations that have been laid.

Truly gutted but the club need to sort quickly without financial compromise and not let Marti dictate the narrative.

But we could have held on and got some comp.

If we end up sacking him, because no one comes in for him - and of course they won’t now, they’ll just wait - we’ll have to pay Cifuentes off.

All the while he is on garden leave we cannot legally replace him so we’ve snookered ourselves a bit.

Who is going to be involved from the football side of the club on all our summer recruitment activity? We’ve been told the HC is actively involved? Oh…wait…

Agreed, the owners are weak and haven't got a clue.

None of that absolves Nourry of his responsibility in this, however.

Days of speculation. Loads of worried fans. Finally, QPR make a decision to end the speculation. As per usual, its the wrong one.

I am not joining in with the Nourry is the devil and Marti is the best Manager ever theme.
Both have done some good things and probably made some mistakes.
At the end of the day Marti's agent entered discussions with a rival club and Marti must have expressed an interest.
The only option to Nourry imo was to put Marti on gardening leave, it would have been a farce to let Marti take the team to Sunderland.
I hope Marti leaves now as the relationship has been tainted. I also hope we know who the new Coach is quickly and we sort out the contracts of players we'd like to retain

Wild horses couldn't drag me away...

I can't see any Club paying much compensation if any when we have put him on gardening leave.

We are on our 18th manager under this mob , let that sink in for everyone
Nourry is out of his depth I grant you but he is just a front for the gimps who have made us a laughing stock , Nourry goes and then what ? We get another bloke just as sh1t it’s never going to end until they go

Baffled by this approach from Nourry and the club. If Marti wanted to leave, and we wanted him gone, then agree to cancel his contract. If he was going to be poached by another team, sit tight and get some compensation. Doing it this way round is the worst of both worlds: WBA know he's worth nothing to us, but we also have to keep paying him until someone else offers him a job.

I'm sure there's lots going on behind the scenes here, and Marti clearly isn't blameless, but honestly it just screams of poor planning and trying to be too clever, like so many other things at the club.

It's also, regardless of blame, a really sad and unedifying way for Marti to leave, after 18 months in which he's generally come across as committed to the club and connected to the supporters. Just a massive shame all round, really.

The telegraph article from John Percy makes it quite clear that he’s on the way to WBA - presumably they won’t pay compo so now it’s a holding pattern. Needs a quick resolution for all (especially us)

Same as with players, any interested club will have spoken to his agent, ascertained his relationship with Nourry was Pripyat level toxic and wait for him to become free.

At this point Loftus Road could burn to the ground with Christian Nourry stood outside holding a can of petrol and a box of matches and you still wouldn’t criticise him.

Fair points. The owners are incompetent, and ultimately the club will drift under their "leadership". Had they appointed a DOF and a separate CEO with experience then we may have made some progress despite that. Instead, well we all know the rest.

What's the best contact email address at the club to express our disdain at the way Nourry is being allowed to run it?

In lieu of being at Sunderland.

All these snake comments on Twitter... I don't agree. Managers come and go, as do players. He clearly didn't like what he saw within the club. He's ambitious and doesn't want to be here. Fine. Off you go, thanks for the past 18 months. He certainly lifted the place for a bit. Next.

It is sad but it is because the club is quite simply being really badly run. This is just the latest in a series of awful decisions by the owners/board/executives. They are taking people's active support and tolerance levels for granted and they are in serious danger of doing it once too often for many of us. Straws and damaged camels come to mind.
