As Spaceman P has abnegated his responsibility, let me have a crack. Only done one before and I think that was a win.
Draw'll do me.

Get in! Great result.

Let’s not miss the fact that both our goals came from crosses, on the outside of the full back (not inverting or cutting back in), in good areas. Width! 442 requires it when you attack. Hopefully that was Stephan’s message at HT.

Not only that but selfless players looking to cross. Saito and Dembele guilty of trying to do it alone in the first half. the result? Zero shots on target. Subs Smyth and Vale the complete opposite. Looking to pass and provide. Vale with 2 crosses for the opening goal, one left foot, one right. Smyth with excellent link up play in the build up to the second and a fine header from a Dunne cross. The result? 2 shots on target, 2 goals, thank you very much, and goodnight Bristol.

We created two half chances from crosses and we took them brilliantly..........we must start taking our half chances more often.

Fair result, tough call but I will take 3 points at Ashton Gate although they were pretty average side. Just imagine if we had won our last two matches when we drew!!!!

Enjoy a few days off boys, you worked very hard and deserve everything that you got.

I am in Cyprus, enjoying a few days away, its 7pm now, quick shower, few Keo's, nice lamb chop dinner and a Baileys in the hotel to close the night!!!! Happy days!!!!

Watched most of the first half on the stream and the last 20 minutes of the second (just missed Kone's goal) - thought it was a pretty even game between two decent teams, and a great result.

We look so much better with Burrell giving us some pace up top, and with Vale on the pitch. Smyth's goal was a peach too: it's a reflection of his work rate and commitment that the shortest player on the pitch was able to win the game with a header. Thought Madsen and Varane played decently too, and are looking increasingly solid as a midfield two.

Thought we were a bit ropey at the back at several moments, though: Esquerdinha is clearly still very raw, and Dunne was far from his best today. Bristol had a lot of very good chances, and will be wondering how they didn't come away with at least a point. Giving up that many opportunities and relying on Paul Smyth headers is not a long-term strategy, I fear.

All in all though, I thought we played decently, and were good value for the win.

Ah well, another 3 game week disaster.

Shocking week.

I've had enough of this season already. Take the last 6 games, complete joke.

4 wins, 2 draws, and 6th in the table ?!?!?!

Disastrous.

Ha ha!!

He took it better than I would. Can't see how it's my fault that Armstrong can't score though.

Now that's just fantastic. Paul Smyth at Ashton Gate - it's psychology, I tell yer. And our Head Coach emerges as Le Roi of the three-game week, non?

A tough game but the best result of the season so far I'd say, by a country mile. So now the Sheff Wed and Oxford draws are taken care of (5pts from the week is great work, Rangers - just not in the expected order!). And we have sealed that all-important 4th win inside the first 10 games which gives us a real solid foundation this season after a turbulent spring and summer off-the-field.

This is really good for Stephan, for our CEO, for everyone connected with Rangers. It could just be the start of something. I really don't know what, but something....

Absolutely brilliant result

God knows how . Some of that was diabolical and frustrating beyond measure .

But my gosh how good does that feel ? 6th?
Who on Earth would have thought that after the Cov debacle .

Make no mistake this is the worst set of 24 Championship teams for a long long time , but well done to everybody for turning this around . 6 unbeaten . Not losing games when you’re playing fairly poorly is a great trait .
And then taking your chances when they come along even more so.

They missed 2 huge chances and that’s a penalty against Jimmy all day long .

But what a bloody win !!!

Enjoy your Saturday night people

Great result that in the end, much better once the subs came on. Thought Morrison had his worst game for us but Steve Cook of old was alongside him to bail him out.

I really like Esquerdinha I think we have a live one there, prone to the odd mistake but at 19 I think he is going to the top (who had thunk it we would look so strong at LB at the start of the season)

Madsen is starting to boss the midfield in spells my MOTM today, What we did much better 2nd half was get Kone into dangerous positions where he can effect the game.

Dembele disappointing again, I think he's an impact sub and no more at this moment in time

Love the sound of that apart from the Keo - horrible lager! Enjoy, nonetheless

Stuffing my face with humble pie as just didn’t see Madsen coming good but now he’s arguably our most influential player on the pitch.
Fantastic again today.

Wish I could be like David Watts

Wow! Just wow! I fancied our chances of getting something at Ashton Gate presuming that we played our 'best' team. My heart dropped when I saw the starting line up, a centre mid of Varane and Madsen, how could that work? All I could envisage was Bristol playing through us. How could Dembele get another start?

Things weren't going well and then Julien removed our best attacking option in Saito. How can we get back in to this game?

C'est impossible !!

Instant impact from the subs and Kone showed the Bristol players how to finish a good chance.

I apologise Julien for doubting you. The fact that center mid pairing worked speaks volumes as to how much these two players are improving.

Sign that contract Paul.

Cook was back to his old self against Oxford. Two games running he’s been the stronger of the centre halves. Think he’s played himself into starting and it’s one of Morrison or Mbengue.

I’ve not been as impressed with Kone so far as most on here have been.

It does seem though that he’s being asked to play slightly deeper and I don’t think he’s been happy with that role.
Dare I say he needs to shape up his attitude a bit?

Contrast with Burrell - absolute props to him.
Love the fella so far.

I agree with what you're saying, but it does feel slightly strange.

Kone's got 4 goals and Burrell's got 1 - if I'm counting correctly.

I think maybe combined they are better than the sum of their parts.

No co-comms again.

Very disappointing. Tyler's ok as a commentator but he needs help interpreting the game.

Disagree. Tyler is a brilliant commentator. When I lost the picture I still knew where the ball was.
Co commentary invites discussion which kills commentary. I think that the commentary is the same one as used for sound only.

I remember one game when the ball went out for a goal kick at one end. The next mention of where it was came after it went out again at the other. In between nothing.

Well done Rangers , the Manager & Nourry especially deserve credit
Great to see a team play with 2 strikers and wingers no more of this overplaying at the back and sideways , we are direct , we have pace and players who are committed
Long may it continue

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

What's happened to Lee Cook? Just a one off for the Stoke game?

He's done a couple of the home games.
