As Spaceman P has abnegated his responsibility, let me have a crack. Only done one before and I think that was a win.
Draw'll do me.

Stuffing my face with humble pie as just didn’t see Madsen coming good but now he’s arguably our most influential player on the pitch.
Fantastic again today.

Disagree. Tyler is a brilliant commentator. When I lost the picture I still knew where the ball was.
Co commentary invites discussion which kills commentary. I think that the commentary is the same one as used for sound only.

I remember one game when the ball went out for a goal kick at one end. The next mention of where it was came after it went out again at the other. In between nothing.

Fair enough, Addinall.

I prefer two people on comms, but each to their own, of course.

Strange that they can't draft in another ex pro to cover for Andy Sinton, Furs springs to mind.

Cook, Madsen and Burrell my standouts. Vale and Smyth with big impact off the bench. Kone not at his best but still smashing one in.

And STILL Chair, Poku...JCS (I know) to come back.

You'd expect Ipswich and Saints to sort themselves out over the course of the season but Sheff Utd giving themselves a mountain to climb. Wide open league this year - Wrexham and Birmingham not looking a threat so far. Already 9 clear of the drop, would be fantastic to just spend a season in the top half, anything else a bonus.

Poll: And it's hi ho

Cook was back to his old self against Oxford. Two games running he’s been the stronger of the centre halves. Think he’s played himself into starting and it’s one of Morrison or Mbengue.

He's also an excellent mentor for Esquerdinha.

We created two half chances from crosses and we took them brilliantly..........we must start taking our half chances more often.

Fair result, tough call but I will take 3 points at Ashton Gate although they were pretty average side. Just imagine if we had won our last two matches when we drew!!!!

Enjoy a few days off boys, you worked very hard and deserve everything that you got.

I am in Cyprus, enjoying a few days away, its 7pm now, quick shower, few Keo's, nice lamb chop dinner and a Baileys in the hotel to close the night!!!! Happy days!!!!

Try Leon instead of Keo.

Esquerdinha for me. Needs to cut out the diving in, but his "on them immediately " mentality puts him streets ahead of Paal and he is not even 20 yet!

Can we go out yet?

He's a professional alright. I have little complaint with his play by play; I just prefer a greater level of bias myself.

I think we saw today how to add another threat to our attack. Simply get Kone in the box and sling in the crosses. Kone comes alive in the box.

That will mean fewer long balls to Burrell but we must do it. And with Chair and Poku to come back in, we have players who can do just that.

Tried following this at 30,000 feet. Completely lost connection at halftime.

What a wonderful surprise when my phone burst into life at Rome Airport.

The way forward is sticking me in a cinema for two and a half hours whilst the footballs on.

Superb result, wasn’t expecting that.

And 6th place to look at for two full weeks.

Absolutely brilliant result

God knows how . Some of that was diabolical and frustrating beyond measure .

But my gosh how good does that feel ? 6th?
Who on Earth would have thought that after the Cov debacle .

Make no mistake this is the worst set of 24 Championship teams for a long long time , but well done to everybody for turning this around . 6 unbeaten . Not losing games when you’re playing fairly poorly is a great trait .
And then taking your chances when they come along even more so.

They missed 2 huge chances and that’s a penalty against Jimmy all day long .

But what a bloody win !!!

Enjoy your Saturday night people

Bit harsh on Coventry to include them in the poor teams category. Won all their games this week on an aggregate score of 12-0 and already have a plus 20 GD. I agree with the rest of your post but we should be third but chose to make life difficult for ourselves against Oxford

He fared a lot better than I expected. A couple of dicey moments, tendency to overplay it at times - he is Brazilian- but feared the worst with no RND and he did well.

I thought he was really good.

Got a bit drawn out towards the end, but he must have been physically and mentally tired at that stage. And we had no sub on the bench for him, so pressure to do 90 was on.

I hope, being, our player rather than a loanee, he gets a good run in the side. He has impressed me in every game I have watched him in, including DS etc.

The grass is always greener.

He was good, but agree he sometimes tried too much. Might look good in his Speedos on the Copacabana doing little flicks and tricks., but not in the Championship!

I noticed today that as a team we have a tendency to sometimes try too much, but they are very young.

Anyone see Preston being fourth on after the opening day?

Madness this.

Certainly it's a bit surprising to see two of our most disappointing results having been against sides that are now top and 4th - puts it all into a bit of perspective.

(Obviously "disappointing" is doing a shedload of work when it comes to Coventry and it still bugs me that we've yet to get back into positive goal difference, but if it had been a one or two goal defeat I think we'd all still have been deeply unimpressed at the time, but in hindsight wouldn't have seemed so bad away from home.)

There’s an argument that Mbengue should be our right back with Cook and Morrison in the middle. That conversation won’t be had though.

Interesting, I thought he struggled a bit defensively. Got caught too tight or diving in a few times. Which is to be expected of course- and he'll learn.

Definitely looks a great prospect though

He's done a couple of the home games.

Superb result and i thought we looked off the pace generally, sloppy passing. Lovely stuff. Reckon we gained back two of the expected points from the last two games (not that those results weren't deserved).

Great result and a perfect summary of what I’ve been whinging about for weeks now - Esquardinha *HAS* to start the majority of matches for the rest of the season. He’s raw, he’s going to give away some goals getting drawn into 50/50 interceptions but he’s learning rapidly and is one of the few we could feasibly sell on in 12-24 months for a healthy profit.

It all comes down to how many points we have in May, in that context the dropped points against Wednesday and Oxford will always stick in my craw. But, 3pts away at Bristol is a fantastic result and going into an international break with an away win and in 6th spot is good for morale and general trajectory.

I would really like the manager to now be bullish about our prospects, back himself and talk about fighting to reach the top spots and remain there. Fine if he wants to use the whole squad but ne needs to realise that players on a winning run don't want a "rest", they want to ride the wave. It might just be semantics but don't talk about fatigue or a challenging programme - talk about maximising the potential of our fantastic squad and seeking to subject our opponehts to a stern 90min test in every game.
