I'm really hoping all of the rumours about Marti leaving at the end of the season are untrue.
Consistency is absolutely key for us.
I think he's doing a decent job, definitely had his challenges this year.
What is everyone else's view?

I’ve said it before and will say it again, I fear Nourry is a serious danger to the football club, is a control freak, and out of his depth from a leadership perspective.
My feelings and hope for next season vary greatly if we had Cifuentes at the helm, a new Head of Fitness/Performance and a new structure there, and a more balanced approach to recruitment (almost what Marti is asking for!) vs no Cifuentes, and Nourry, a man with 2 years’ entire career experience in anything prior to QPR, in charge of everything. |  | | |

To be honest, the meat of this story is no different from the longer WLS piece we were talking about earlier, just with a slightly sensationalised headline in the typical Sun way which we all love oh so much..
"Could" quit - in the same way that they famously reported that we "could" get a 12-points deduction in relation to Ale Faurlin, and decided to splash it all over the back page about 24 hours before the verdict was passed.

The club need to back Marti. On the face of it he has done remarkably well considering the injuries but we cannot have another season of similar injuries. Surely this makes the bloke in Dubai his job is untenable. But we as fans can’t simply accept another season of just staying in the Championship. Since being relegated every year we just seem to want to stay up. But we have one of the most expensive season tickets in the league. Nourry has made no progress with the stadium. Our ground has not changed in decades. We have to show desire to move to a new ground or do what we can to expand at Loftus Rd. I feel like I have spent most of my life in the Championship. Another year with trips to places like Preston, Stoke, Middlesbrough etc. zzzzzzzzz | | | |

Thing is, I could have written that from the sources on here, so its not news. The direct quotes have been reported everywhere else and you can spin it that way or you can spin it another way.
It may be right; it may be wrong, but the WLS crew have hardly been positive about Nourry from Day One have they? All of this of course makes it really, really easy for Marti to walk away and still look like the good guy even if he isn't.
Once this type of article makes it to the MSM, something usually happens although I am sure I read in that 'kin rag that we were going to get stuck with a points deduction over the Faurlin saga...
If he is going, then let him announce it before Saturday so that we can say good bye. It'd also be lovely if we knew which of the OOC players were going too...
But that requires communication with the fans so I doubt that'll happen... |  |
