No way. Makes no sense at all. They'll want a manager experienced in the top end of the Championship at least.

Or a manager who can clearly set a team up to play some nice football and might finally have some quality players to have a proper go at it. Plus he seems popular with the players so could do a good job raising spirits in a team that's been beaten most weeks all season.

They went up just over a year ago with a manager who'd never managed at this level. That said, I still think its far-fetched they'd want him compared to the other clubs looking for managers at this level

I know I'm guessing. So are you.

We both have the same evidence and have formed different opinions. Don't think we'll change them either. You carry on defending Nourry / criticising Marti and I'll carry on believing Nourry is a complete charlatan that is damaging the club and has forced out the best manager we've had since Neil. Cheers. Bye.

Why does it have to be Nourry or Marti. I like Marti and he’s done a fantastic job. I think Nourry has done ok, think he’s done some good stuff but also some not so good. I want Marti to stay. But what I won’t do is just make things up to justify a point of view. Last week we had an article saying he was unhappy about medical guy and free kick coach. And he may resign because of that. I don’t believe either of those things are reasons to resign. Now we have this. If Marti wants to leave then fine but don’t make up that he’s being pushed with no facts.

This doesn't have to be leaked by Nourry or by Cifuentes.

It could be leaked by someone at the other club.
Or it could be made up.

Either way, club now leaking like an absolute sieve. Both sides of the argument seemingly trying to get their shot in.

A mess and a shame.

If it happens, did I hear right that the release clause is set at 4million?

Lots of players out of contract and now this Martí Cifuentes bullshit.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

I know people seem to have this misty eyed romanticism when it comes to football but at the end of the day, playing football or being a coach or manager is a job for these guys. If you aren’t that happy with the working conditions at your job and another company says come and work for me, I’ll double your salary, give you a bonus, nice car etc you’d be on your toes.

No different.

The only people loyal to football clubs 99% of the time are the fans. Players and managers will come and go. I’d rather he stayed but if he doesn’t, he doesn’t.

I don't think he's being pushed. Haven't said he is. I think his relationship with Nourry is so poor he can't wait to get out. I'll hold Nourry accountable for that.

Why would the club know? Unless the other club or the agent have explicitly told them. The story is that another club have been speaking with his agents surely the source is more likely to be that club or Marti's agents.

Well if it's his agent then that's him and last time I checked, for now, Marti Cifuentes is "somebody at QPR".

I don't see what the other club have to gain by putting it out. It's not exactly like he needs unsettling is it? You'd risk losing your target to another club. And if it was them Sky would know which club it was, so why would they keep it to themselves?

Would be astonished if this wasn’t leaked by Nourry/Hoos to manipulate the fanbase, regardless of whether true or not.

His agents touted him about last summer - no takers - which they knew about and they didn’t leak it.

But remember they want him gone, they just don’t want to pay him off and want to get some comp instead.

Hugely worried about who Nourry will hire instead.

This!

As I’ve said on another thread, believe what you want and need to to suit.

But please , please think, that’s all

The bigger concern for me is getting the next appointment correct. Getting Marti and him being successful (by our very meagre expectations of what successful is for QPR due to the constant mismanagement of the club by its owners) feels like it might have been a fluke!

Yeh this is increasingly the bigger issue than whether he's staying or not.

Well, Nourry found Cifuentes year before he came to the club.

Now that he's actually here, imagine what a good manager he'll find!

It has to be the other club to cause disruption. Nothing to gain by it being marti or his agents. Timing is terrible especially given his messaging over the week.

Maybe it is all Nourry and Hoos or maybe, just maybe Marti is pulling the strings because he knows we cannot compete at this level with our budget and doesn't want go spend this part of his career dragging a bunch of footballing Neanderthals to get to 50 points.

Like Beale, maybe the reality of how fkd the club is shows them that NO-ONE can possibly succeed here and they want out before they go down with a sinking ship?

Maybe he really is St Marti fighting the good fight against evil Lee and evil Christian, or maybe he has had enough and wants out. There is as much chance that he leaked this as Nourry.

Either way, here we fckn go again.

The one bad choice I have made in my life is this poxy club.

Can we go out yet?
