England women’s team 21:58 - Jul 4 with 16555 views | stowmarketrange | Anyone else going to Zurich tomorrow night? We are sat behind one of the goals in section B11,and although I’ll be wearing an England shirt rather than a QPR one,I’ll be waving my QPR flag, especially if Chloe comes on. Come on England.
England women’s team on 22:53 - Jul 17 with 2077 views | loftupper | Wow! Nerves got to a few of them on both sides there! Except for our Chloe and Lucy Bronze!! Well done England!
England women’s team on 22:56 - Jul 17 with 2011 views | Toast_R | That was incredible. How have England won that? Sweden must be kicking themselves. Not only did they blow a 2-0 lead with 15 left to play, the bottles penalties when England handed the shootout to them on a plate. Lucy Bronze the tru e outstanding player tonight. A proper warrior.

England women’s team on 22:58 - Jul 17 with 1970 views | ManinBlack | Falk saves four penalties and still on the losing side. Strange decision to have Falk take the deciding kick. Mind you the outfield players after her weren't much better. We got lucky but maybe our name on the trophy again!
England women’s team on 23:00 - Jul 17 with 1939 views | hamptonhillhoop | That was genuinely the worst penalty shoot out I've ever seen. 3-2 from about 14 penalties!
England women’s team on 23:00 - Jul 17 with 1936 views | 100percent | That was genuinely exciting to watch. Really enjoyed that - Chloe Kelly ooozes confidence. I don't rate the Italians - always thought the Swedish were a much tougher ask. France/Spain to cancel each other out in the semis.....

Yes considering Falks had done so well, to make her take what would have been the winning penalty seemed crazy. Chloe Kelly really made the difference tonight. We are different class when she is on the pitch.

England women’s team on 23:09 - Jul 17 with 1825 views | numptydumpty | Seen Agyemang come on couple of games and she makes a massive difference up front. Frightens the opposition into making mistakes. Chloe Kelly always seems to be the go to girl in the final moments. Done it couple of times before. Her crosses are the best crosses from a present or in her case ex QPR player. She could train Paul Smyth and Ilias Chair....

England women’s team on 23:28 - Jul 17 with 1660 views | stowmarketrange | Not one of my better decisions to sell my QF and SF tickets back to UEFA after the France game. Did anyone else see the QPR flag right when James got barged in the back just before our 1st goal? A terrible performance from our starting 11 again, and it was just as well we had some good subs on the bench, but it’s the result that counts. Come on England.
England women’s team on 23:33 - Jul 17 with 1647 views | bosh67 | Agyemang really is strong and she has a lot of pace as well. I'd start her in the semi. Chloe just is class. Makes such a difference. Worked as a super sub tonight but deserves more game time, but is one of those game changing players as a sub as well. Big up for Bronze, she really was channeling her inner Stuart Pearce.

England women’s team on 00:14 - Jul 18 with 1505 views | NorrisGreen | Must be worst series of spot kicks ever - shocking! Swedish keeper was diving when English players were 2 yards short of ball. Why didn't they just laugh and roll the ball the other side?? Think there were only 3 decent pens out of all what was it 7 each?
England women’s team on 00:26 - Jul 18 with 1491 views | LazyFan | Kelly knows how to make runs and cross a ball. James is a world-class player despite the penalty miss. The whole team knows how to head a ball in attack, but not so sure about defending a cross. Carter is a good, solid CD, but she is not up to the pace of these world-class class super-fast forwards. This is where Englands weakness is. Sweden exploited her lack of pace again, first goal was due to the press being too fast for her and the second she was unable to get back into position. Not entirely her fault but she is just not fast enough compared to all these speedsters every team seems to have. We need someone in the back who can handle pacy forwards, otherwise we shall get undone again. Kelly needs to start and Agy brought on much earlier, if not a starter.

Yea I thought the Swedish Keeper was diving before the penalties were taken and saved them easy because she went the right way. Didnt think that was allowed. Our players should have put them away the other side.

England women’s team on 22:52 - Jul 17 by strikerace | Wow, major choke by Sweden on the last few penalties. missed 3 in a row, 2 weren't even on net. Very physical game, great comeback for England. Also of course, Chloe nails her PK |
Odd their keeper took the penalty that would have put them through. It might have been always planned that way but if they changed it because she saved 3 (pretty poor) England penalties and scoring the winner was a fairy-tale ending, that rather backfired. Straight out of the Kerry Dixon school of "try and hit top bins on the right but lean back so much you hit Q block"
England women’s team on 07:07 - Jul 18 with 1127 views | gazza1 | Don't normally watch women's football because basically it is rubbish football, a standard non league team would win very easily indeed (6-0 at least) but thought I would give it a go. Well, we started like a 11 year boys old team would make making mistake after mistake defensively. But generally we were very poor indeed during most of the match. The penalties were poor, kids stuff too. Got away with going through against a better Swedish team. In saying that I enjoyed the watch, it was different. Congratulations to the Team.

There was a very similar one in the women's world cup in 2023, Australia v France. France pretty much did what Sweden did, missed 2 or 3 pens that would have sent them through. The Sweden keeper was going very early so I would have thought there was an opportunity to go the other side if you were smart.

36% success rate. Worst I can remember was Terry Venables’ Barcelona losing the 86 European Cup Final shootout 2-0 to Steaua Bucharest after 8 penalties…25% success.

Why do you watch QPR then? I've seen us play football far worse than last night, I've seen Ready and Yates defend as badly as Jess Carter and I saw us in a penalty shoot out vs Sunderland take just as many bad penalties. I'm still supporting us. I don't understand why women's football can't just be judged on how good it is as women vs women rather than all this comparing to how they would fare against an u12 boys side or whatever. Last night was massively entertaining, and well done for them for getting through, somehow.

I agree Carter was poor & would’ve subbed her at H/T & too slow [Post edited 20 Jul 16:44]

It had to be planned that way as the list of penalty takers & the order of taking them is given to the referee before the penalties start. Everybody seems to be praising Kelly & Bronze for their penalties but ignoring Russo. Her's was unstopable as well!

This. So many boring farts on Facebook etc moaning about women's football, commentators etc. Probably the same types that go on about what a good day out non league is.
