No. I think that’s just badly worded tweet. I don’t think the £0.5m is what we paid Marti as part of his agreement to leave. It could be higher or lower than that. The average salary is c900k I think? I do wonder whether QPR and Marti could agree to cancel his settlement or part of it and then offset this amount. That would be better tax wise for Marti, than him just paying us some money back. |  | | |

yeah the half a million is the reported compensation figure that QPR would get, what we paid him off hasn't been disclosed
It sounds like Marti is going to defer some of his wages at leicester so the 500k doesn't affect their PSR which they are bang in trouble with [Post edited 11 Jul 10:09]

I think you're right but I think you're only going to get that if another club is desperate mid-season. We can't really have Marti hanging around on gardening leave indefinitely. And it's unlikely that any club will pay big bucks at this time of year when there are other managers available. | | | |

Leicester have got their own Director of Football who does the squad building who the fans hate pretty much universally.
