The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 07:19 - Jun 18 by Lblock | If you think Jimmy Dunne wouldn’t have a queue of clubs offering him deals then you haven’t been watching Jimmy Dunne |
Yeah but the difference between us and offers from other clubs isn’t that big. Sheffield united and any recently relegated premiership team can offer a lot more, not just money but a genuine chance of promotion. With these teams seemingly not in picture, then I’d say, there’s a chance he could stay.

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 03:45 - Jun 18 by numptydumpty | Can't get back to sleep. Yes Sam. Was just saying believe a summer transfer window some years ago, everyday the Millwall right back had been just needing to agree personal terms with ourselves and then in last couple of hours of the summer window, we ended up signing some random that had not been chatted about at all. Am bit like Brian, unless its done and dusted, signed, sealed and delivered, I believe nothing. |
Ah the McNamara saga, they say we've just lodged a 7th improved bid... "unless its done and dusted, signed, sealed and delivered, I believe nothing." Fully understand with the shite that gets spewed, but then again I'm not sure you'll have the best time in a "rumours" thread like this one!
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 09:30 - Jun 18 with 2134 views | Myke | It is by far the weirdest transfer rumour year in the sense that we haven't signed ANYBODY for the first team yet. Equally, we haven't lost anybody except Paal yet. A number of players, - Walsh, Cook, Field, Smith, Frey, Varane - have signed contract extensions, which gives a little stability I guess. Dunne of course is the big one that we want to see resolved and while the (infuriating) silence has become the norm at our end, you would think that if someone had signed him, they would be trumpeting that on their own website. As it is, there is complete radio silence. There are still a number of positions (particularly FB's) that need resolving if we are to make any fist at surviving next season - oh and a new manager would be helpful.

Same every season - most player contracts expire 30th June so I don't expect any new signing announcements till after that (unless they're already free agents).

I’m sure there are others who would like him but probably not many offering a better deal than us.

Wilder was certainly the driver for getting Dunne in to Sheff U. They are spending a couple of million on Ash Phillips from Spurs for their defence, targeting young players who can step up I think now rather than a player who they'd only be trying to shift anyway as soon as they reach the top flight

Admittedly weird we haven't heard of any other clubs' interest, but yeah all we know is that Wilder has been pretty keen. Whilst he's obviously been really important to us, I do wonder about how other clubs view his stock. A 6ft 3 or 4 center back turned right back is an unusual one. Sheffield United signing Rob Holding in response to the deal collapsing in January shows to me they were planning on using him at centre-back rather than utilising the Irish Cafu which we know

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 16:15 - Jun 13 by aston_hoop | Adrian Segecic is a name doing the rounds again. Not sure of that is because we want him or because we have fans who want him though. |
Portsmouth set to sign him now. Does seem like we're competing with them to build an Australian B team
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 13:42 - Jun 18 with 948 views | bosh67 | I see Paul Mullin is possibly parting ways with Wrexham after being frozen out for half a season there. 30 years old now but a prolific striker wherever he has been. Perhaps worth a think? Lots of experience and a great goal per game tally, not too far behind Charlie Austin's.

Perhaps one of them could be the new Dave the sub. One down, two to go.

Hardly played in League One last season so I’d think Wrexham believed his level was League Two.

That's a position in which we don't need strengthening. Can't see it myself.

I don't think it'd be a bad thing to strengthen in wide areas tbf, especially if we don't keep Saito on. Just not another 10!

Ahh Sam Well my predictions that Dunne was always going to sign proved 100% correct so think as i said previously there could be all the rumours in the world going on. And sometimes too many rumours and then the exact opposite So perhaps I done ok on this one on here !!! Was waiting for this announcement re Dunne. Its almost like you can second guess the decisions way before we are meant to know.

I thought it was obvious he wasn't going anywhere and this pattern of delaying announcements, I just felt this Dunne deal was done weeks ago. Excuse the pun !! As for the lottery numbers, that's sadly not something I have ever had a talent for knowing. Although had a friend of a friend win £175 000, my dads mate won £250 000 and my sister won £35 000. Patiently waiting on that one...

I'd rather we give Charlie Kelman his deserved chance after tearing it up in League one last season, unlike Mullin. Now if we'd expressed an interest in the player they have just signed from Plymouth: Hardie, for a mere £700k, now that would have been a different matter. [Post edited 18 Jun 15:09]

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 16:58 - Jun 18 with 174 views | numptydumpty | Think before our fixture release next Thursday, finally the new manager will be confirmed and I think a couple more cotract extensions. Am thinking we may keep Saito !!! I think Mr Nourry is looking to up his game with the fans and with Dunne and Cook, to sign up Koki seems a logical step. Not as confident with this one as with Dunne but hopeful all the same, but expect couple more signatures before the fixtures come out and overdue confirmation of the new mqnager. Sees to be the way things are done,
