Results from the beginining of December onwards had them dead last. Good start masking a disastrous finish and one outstanding player in Chakvetadze carrying them.

This is the type of appointment that I expect the club to make. It could be him. [Post edited 31 May 10:05]

Just one day he has become favourite to the job, if we believe the odds, it might be him then. He is also assistant coach of Austria national team. According to Transfermarkt his favourite formation is 4-4-2

It’ll be nobody until Marti gets a new job. The man child has royally fcukd this up and showed his inexperience My prediction is Betsy and Furlong will be running the first team squad until Marti gets another gig. Then we’ll be appointing someone who is available and that won’t be first choices as they are getting new jobs now on the early summer merrygoround

This! You only really put someone on garden leave if they're going and you don't want them in the building during their notice period and you're not prepared to let them leave early. It's not inconceivable that MC - who isn't actually seeing out a notice period - doesn't get a new job in which case, if we appointed a new manager, MC could resign and argue that he's been constructively dismissed. Equally, he could just say, either pay me up or I'll stay on the books collecting my salary until my contract runs out. If MC was offered a new job, then I'll be surprised if we've got much muscle to demand the full buy-out clause now. Unless there's something we don't know, the boy wonder may well be the boy blunder.

The QPR summer managers rumours thread on 08:39 - May 31 with 3488 views | SW_Ranger | Like or dislike Christian Nourry, and there’s reasons for both, there’s no way on this earth he is making the decision to put Martà on garden leave alone. Hoos and almost certainly the board would have discussed it and finalised the action. It’s crazy talk. Just sort out the appointment now. All the likeable, and probably unlikely, appointments are disappearing now. We are awaiting our ticket in the queue to make our choice. It’s all about pecking order - and we are where we are.

Agreed. All further compounded by the fact that no one seemingly wants to pay the buy out clause for Marti and we almost certainly don’t want to pay another one for a half decent replacement, based on our previous decisions. Unless we can offset one fee against the other it’s stalemate for now, which has a lot of knock on effects for recruitment, retention and pre-season. Not to mention season ticket sales… Omnishamble.

I think after Betsy's disaster at Crawley he will be quite happy sticking to is current job.

Scandalous rhetoric Pindarus. You’ll be drowned in the local pond and then paraded around Shepherds Bush before being burnt at the stake on the green. How dare you talk like that.

Not necessarily. U can still bring someone in. Also, if Cifuentes has breached the terms of his contract, then QPR could go legal, so no payout, and the board would have done this with legal advice, not Nourry on his own. We'll have our targets, so I'm not panicking. It's all a bit of a mess, but there is certainly a pattern emerging. I think this is being done to put a marker in the ground and state publicly that QPR won't be taken advantage of anymore. Kollis alleged contract situation 9 months, don't sign don't play. Cifuentes alleged contact with WBA, you're finished here. Not pushing for a 1st team place by 21 years old, you're out. Personally, I'm sick of people taking the pish out of us, so I much prefer this style than having our tummy tickled.

You are aware that clubs would still have to pay compensation right now , knowing that sooner rather than later QPR will have to pay him off and he become a free agent? Why would anyone do that especially at mid championship level .
