£1.3m. Spending some of the Kelman money in advance.

Never heard of him either. I thought QPR were after the Colchester striker.

Probably not a coincidence his move announced on the same day as Kelman's departure. Sounds like as close to a like-for-like as you can imagine.

States 30 goals in 64 apps in League 1.

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/charlie-kelman/profil/spieler/633492

Kelman got 32 in 111 apps.

He sounds hungry and I like that. Hope he smashes it.

Is he fit?

Smells like a trout farm in here

Good luck Rumarn

An unknown quantity. Let's hope the star on his neck is also in his boots.

Never knowingly right.

Unfortunately, that is Scottish League 1 with Cove Rangers. A couple further down you'll see the 11 in 30 in English League 1

Never heard of him either, but definitely looks quick! Adding more pace and certainly looks like there's more about him then the Colchester lad.

A 1 in 2 striker in L1 swapped for a 1 in 3 striker in L1 with £2m pocketed. Also sounds like he may fit Stephan's needs better. Can't complain.

Rumarn the Burrell, we'll have a burrell of rum!

Poll: Who is your player of the season?

We sold a player who might have come good, but clearly wasn’t committed — for £3–5 million after add-ons, and brought in a proven, well-liked striker off the back of a strong season at Burton for a quarter of the fee. This is exactly the kind of smart, pragmatic business the club should be doing.

Very direct and very quick. It's pretty obvious what our new manager wants upfront, lots of pressing. Great out ball with that pace.

Can't see Celar being here by the end of next week, either.

Seems like a good lad and speaks well. Looking at the clips he has what we need, loads of pace.

Never knowingly right.

I know he’s a striker but I liked the bit he said about relentless pressing.

Totally agree, we have been crying out for some of that. Pressing high is exactly the sort of trait that creates opportunities for the following in of Chair, Poku, Dembele, etc.

Would also agree that Celar could very well be gone sooner rather than later.

It would appear that we have signed this player based on a goalscoring purple patch from January to April 2025. That's an incredibly small sample size to part with over £1m.
