Wages are what drain club resources not transfer fees that be spread over the term of the contract agreed.
We want to keep wages down, which Nourry has done.
Signing lumps like Morris or Windass are completely the wrong thing to do. | |

I suppose you'd say we've looked pretty direct during preseason (although a lot of that against Cardiff was really just rushed clearances under the press), which would align with WLS reporting that we want more pace and power up top. That might also be a reason that we're willing to let Kelman go.

It's a lose lose situation. Sell him now and make some money but piss off the fans or take the risk this season and then he leaves for free next summer which will piss off the fans. We should take the money and invest in players that might want to be at QPR. | | | |

Think that makes the club more attractive to him.
That would be far from a disaster, it would justify keeping him.
