That's ok your absolutely correct it just doesnt make sense to offer Frey another contract, he's injury prone aged 31 and we will be lucky to get him available for 20 games if his track record is anything to go by, plus as Clive has pointed out he's only good for about 60 minutes.
We do need some Senior players to go with all the youth but let's try and be a bit more selective, that contract offer doesn't sound like a CN strategy. [Post edited 20 Aug 14:20]

Regarding Frey only bring good for 60 mins. That's perfectly fine in my opinion. He could run around harassing defenders, score a goal and then be subbed with either Kone, Burrell or Kolli , maybe even Celar if he his still at QPR.
Although most likely, Frey would be used as an impact sub and would be more useful than Celar.
If his wages were affordable an extension of 1 year, with an option (club's) for another year seems reasonable. | | | |

We didn’t think much to Bidwell or Paal but both were essentially solid enough left backs for this level.
