Surely it’s a bit of both? They’ve wasted a lot of money previously and made bad decisions (eg getting rid of Warnock) but today we’re constrained that our income isn’t that great, so we’re confined by that and the rolling loss you’re allowed

At the time many Rangers supporters thought that it was time for Warnock to go & I don't recall many being upset with Hughes being appointed at the time, or when we won the five home games in a row to avoid relegation.

In my view, the biggest mistakes they have made were:-
1) Appointing Harrold instead of accepting relegation & building for the following year.

2) The money they chucked about/away for the seasons he was manager.

3) The appointment of managers because x "had an itch to scratch"

4) Putting FFP in doubt for following years by breaking all of their own rules regarding wages. Every time there looks to be a remote chance of being near the top they revert to "spend, spend, spend".

5) Possibly their biggest mistake - Upsetting Car Giant (previous club sponsors when we needed them to be) over Old Oak Common. A partnership that may have had a chance of being accepted by the powers that be.

I'm sure that there are many others that can be added to the list.

The rules of owner spending are baffling. To add to this conversation-
it is interesting how clubs intermittently seem to come up with a away to wriggle around the fine print.

Maybe Amit/Noury need to put together a QPR biopic.

We are a selling club, we all know that. If someone comes in with a bid we all know the club will consider it. It just happens to be the manager, not a player this time round.

Looks to me if Martí wants to go and a club are prepared to pay for him it will be a done deal. No different to a player wanting to move on and we have to find a way to make it work for us too and get the best price we can.

Mind you, there’s speculation WBA are more interested in Blessen than Martí. Won’t be a nice outcome if Martí’s offered his interest and then feels stuck here after being rejected.

I think Nourry would take issue with the fact that he is not good at communicating. His article for Imperial Business School - https://www.imperial.ac.uk/business-school/faculty-research/research-centres/gan was all about his ability to communicate honestly with Gen Z individuals.

So then in that case, it would seem he communicates with QPR fans with disdain

QPR the only commercial organisation in the country that thinks communication with its customers is a bad thing?
Arrogance? Stupidity?

How / Why? He's been here 18 months. I can't see a single thing he has in common with that deplorable rat.

He signed a deal in Autumn. Now he's criticising the club - doesn't add up. He is clearly trying to dump us. He should be rolling up his sleeves and saying he's gonna sort this club out but he's running away. He's a coward and a snake.

Doesn't matter, leave us a watch your career wither. None of our recent former managers have torn up any trees after saying goodbye to W12. He's all mouth and trousers - we are best shot of him.

By no means the only commercial organisation to have that policy. The default now is to either ignore customers/users or treat them with outright hostility.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Well, we just got beat 0-5 at home. Lots of managers have been sacked for less..
I'm kinda done worrying about losing our manager or certain players, its all part of football.
We'll get another manager in, win some games ,lose some games , battle relegation and string some games together where we look like contenders again, and then go on a six game losing run.
Its a shame, i like him like most do but if he doesnt really want to be here, then thats that.
Until the owners change, its always going to be like this.

Occasional providers of half decent House music.

Yeah this is where I am now. The disappointment is more around how much I like Marti than thinking he’s the next coming of Pep (or, closer to home, that he is going to get anywhere close to what Warnock achieved in this league).

Getting a bit boring, especially with the month long Sunderland fiasco last summer.

IF MC has been talking to WBA last week then he is proper out of order, whatever his relationship is with Nourry. Total lack of disrespect for the Club, Players & Fans 100% - I hope it is not true. I have a lot of respect for MC and this, if true, will sadly change my whole mind set about MC.

This matter, if it is as bad as being suggested, needs sorting 'one way or the other'.......very quickly indeed.

Some naivety here I think Gazza. First of all there is no suggestion that MC has been talking to WBA. Second of all I'd imagine QPR (and every other club) are routinely in contact with certain players' and probably managers' agents when they're employed by other clubs. The only difference here is someone, somewhere has elected to make it public to manipulate headline readers. You've kind of fallen for it hook, line and sinker. There's probably someone at our club right now reading your post, stroking a kitten and laughing maniacally.

Ok well it's 9pm and I'm 2,000 words off writing 2,000 words about QPR 0-5 Burnley.

But very quickly...

"You and quite a few here seem to think it’s Marti vs Nourry. And you’ve got to pick a side."

I literally wrote in the match preview on Friday that it's a messy divorce, and there will be fault on both sides.

"Nourry hasn’t don’t anything good being one example since he joined. It’s borderline mental to say that he hasn’t done one single thing of any benefit to the club since he joined."

I have very frequently said that getting rid of people like Tailor from the academy, not having 22-23 year olds like Nico, Shodipo, Owens hanging round on good money, wanting the development squad to be 16-17-18 year olds because by 19 you want them first team or gone is great. I've pointed out how stupid it was that we didn't clock the ground/stand/training ground sponsorship loopholes for revenue until he came. So it may be "borderline mental" to say he hasn't done anything of benefit, but that's not what I've said. At all.

"I’m not singing Nourry songs at games. I don’t know the guy."

This is something I've been waiting for somebody to piece together on here. Look at the posters who like and rate Nourry, look at the posters who have concerns. One of the key divides between them is it's the people who actually have met him, had to deal with him, had to work with him...

"They are hardly major problems."

The relationship has disintegrated. I cannot believe with everything that's going on at the moment that people are still in denial about this. Just... look.

"Maybe Marti just wants to leave."

Well there we do agree.
