My anger and frustration is with this all being a pattern that is repeated with these owners. Time and time again they have fallen out with managers and each time it leaves a mess
You go back to Warnock and listening to agents saying he was not being good enough to attract big players so they sacked him and well safe to say that didn't end well. Second time with Warnock we were too good for him and really we should have swallowed pride and given him another go
Ian Holloway did the job he was asked but he wasn't as smooth talking as McClaren so they made the change and it was wrong
Warbs a similar thing, an internal fall out and the club got rid of the wrong person and now happening again with Marti
When you see all that you kind of get why Beale spent most of his tenure trying to get out. Why is Marti open to leaving, something behind the scenes is just not right. The names change but the same thing keeps happening

Dunno why folks can't accept Marti is the latest in a long line of mediocre managers we've had.
Yep, doesn't reflect well on the club's hiring strategy but I cannot get on board with the idea I have to blindly get behind the latest chump in the hotseat.

I may be misinterpreting, I feel the attempt to project balance by suggesting that Nourry has a legitimate grounds for complaint, re. Marty coaching the talent brought in, completely overlooks that only one person in this equation has a football pedigree.
I might be persuaded to this argument if our CEO/DOF was an experienced campaigner and had some sort of proven track record.

I think the Dunne part and some of the other contracts were obvious, Dunne was never going to sign a deal unless he knew who the manager was going to be and I'm sure like many of us he was not confident it would be Marti.
You can imagine a scenario where Marti goes to West Brom, he takes Dunne with him , because he will play him, and Furlong comes the other way as part of the compensation package. |  | | |

If the next manager turns this squad, with this recruitment team, this controlling CEO, this 'game model', this divided fanbase, this strike force, without a single full back to its name, with the Director of Performance in a different continent but still drawing a wage, with the club playing the petty schoolyard games that it has this season into a two year stint I will be staggered.
Far more likely he's gone before the end of the January transfer window and we're desperately seeking a dog fight specialist toward the spring.

It's not just that.
Outside of the Champ the permitted losses to income are greater. So the owners can invest (lose) more money if they wish.
